Judging and Scoring
A panel certified by the UBNA will tabulate the judging. The certification clearly explains each category and its components that are judged: symmetry/balance, muscularity, condition, and presentation/posing. The scoring will be divided into four components. Based on the class size. Each of the class competitors will be assigned a placing number. The number used will be the total class size. The tabulation entails the highest and lowest number for each component being deleted, and the remainder is totaled. The competitor with the lowest overall score will be declared 1st and continue in a declining order.
Consistent Judging
Congratulations on your commitment, dedication, hard work, and sacrifices you are ready to invest in becoming the best version of yourself! At UNBO, we recognize that this journey begins with selecting a category and understanding its description. We know it can be challenging when you’ve put in the effort to meet your chosen category's standards, only to see others who may seem more conditioned or muscular than the allowed, receive recognition. But let us be clear: at UNBO, we will NOT judge outside the established category descriptions!
Our commitment to consistent judging is unwavering. We will enforce standards that ensure those exceeding the category descriptions will receive negative marks in those exceeding areas. This consistency is essential for achieving accurate, fair, and impartial judging, empowering you, the competitor, to focus fully on the category you choose with confidence. UNBO offers a diverse range of categories from which you can select. It’s your opportunity to choose the one that best showcases your individual attributes, with the assurance that you will be judged fairly. This is the UNBO commitment!
Which Category to choose?
We have many categories to choose from, and, as a competitor, the muscularity and conditioning you hold should match the category you enter. This will allow the judging to be fair and as consistent as possible. The first way to achieve that is not to exceed the two more controllable criteria in that category: muscularity and Conditioning. Please be sure not to exceed the level described for that category if the level of muscularity or condition exceeds the entered category. The competitor will be marketed negatively in that criteria: Example 1. The classic competitor is showing striations in quads. This is beyond the condition level needed, and the competitor should have lessened the level of conditioning or entered the bodybuilding category. 2. Bikini competitor is showing overdeveloped abs and muscle separation. The competitor should consider figure or less conditioning as that level is too extreme for the bikini criteria.
Membership—Your membership will be for one full year starting when you enroll. It entitles you to enter any UNBO Statcutined event.
Pro Card Eligibility
Open Divisions will be eligible with at least five competitors in men's classic and physique. Women's figure, wellness, and bikini
Open Divisions will be eligible with at least three competitors in men's and women's bodybuilding.
All Masters divisions will be eligible with a minimum of three competitors.
If a division is split into more than one class, awards will be issued to the top five place winners in each class. Then, the top five of each class will receive awards, and the winner will compete for the overall prize for the division.
If the minimum number of competitors is not met, the judges panel can make an exception and grant the pro qualifier to the division winner.
Pro Status Guidelines
UNBO-Pro-sanctioned events are exclusively for UNBO-qualified Pros.
UNBO also accepts athletes from other professional natural bodybuilding organizations that adhere to similar drug-free policy guidelines outlined in the UNBO Drug Policy.
Open Pro holders can compete in a different category from the one where they received their Pro status. For example, a Bodybuilding can enter the Classic division.
An Open Pro qualifier may enter the Masters division, provided they meet the minimum age requirement. Additionally, a Masters Pro qualifier can compete in both the Open and Masters divisions. There are no crossovers for categories.
Outside Organization Pro card holders can enter the amateur division to earn a UNBO Pro Card. However, by doing so, they waive their right to compete in future UNBO Pro events. To re-enter the UNBO Pro circuit, one must earn a UNBO Pro Card.
Once a UNBO Pro Qualifier enters a UNBO pro event, they waive their rights to compete as amateurs unless they earned their master's Pro Card and would like to earn their Pro Card in the open division. Then, they are allowed to go back and enter the open division only.
Non-UNBO pros entering the Pro Sacutined event will need to obtain approval before entry. Please email Unbrokennatural@yahoo.com for consideration.
Presentations
Men's, Classic, and Women's Bodybuilding will be allowed 60 seconds of free posing. They will choose their music. Respectful and PG is the theme. Props such as capes and masks are acceptable. Pro Classes will have 90 seconds.

The Pro Payout is determined by the number of Entries, with 50% of the entry fee divided between the number of Entries. The promoter will use the USBA breakdown formula. Example: If there are three entries, the payout is 45% to 30% to the second and 25% to the third. Each pro entry receives a payout regardless of placement.
The final payout assignment is made at the promoter's discretion.
