Considering the Bikini Category?
Bikini athletes should display a beautiful feminine physique with a toned, fit body complimented with curves. They should not be visually muscular or conditioned to the point that you see details like protruding abs. It is focused on an atoned feminine, lean, and balanced body. On a scale of 1-5, with five being the most extreme and one the least, wellness muscularity is 1-2, and conditioning is 1-2.
Judges will evaluate the following Criteria.
Symmetry/ Balance includes a balanced appearance between the upper and lower body and a well-defined waistline. Not one body part will stand out above the rest.
Muscularity- Moderate level of muscularity with emphasis on a more feminine appearance. Round glutes with slight separation at the hamstring and full delts leading to a tiny waist.
Conditioning— Healthy, lean, and fit appearance, but the focus is keeping a feminine look appropriate to the curves
Presentation/Posing—This is where the athlete will display their hard work in the required poses. They should show an overall healthy look. Tan, grooming, suit/accessories, good posture, and confidence are essential for standing out. Pro Athletes will also have their posing presentation added to their overall score.
Round 1 Group Comparison / Presentation Judged
Front Pose— One hand shall be placed on the hip with the leg bent. The opposite arm shall hang straight down with the outer leg fully extended, facing the judges, accentuating the outer hip and thigh.
Rear Pose: Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, hands on your thighs, and your back open but not flared. You can bend slightly, but not to the point that it becomes a moon pose. If your hair is past shoulder length, move it to the side. To further assess comparisons, competitors will also be asked to walk to the back and front of the stage as a group. The focus is pose and grace.
Round 3 Presentation (Pro Competition Judged only)
Competitors will do a T Walk marked on stage, allowing a pose of choice at each point. Competitors are free to do a nonmandatory figure pose that is G-rated. Example: Front bicep pose.
Costumes and or props are permitted but not mandatory.
They need to be accommodated to be able to judge their physique.
Women wear two-piece posing suits, which are not thongs. They can be narrowly cut to the back to show glute muscularity. Heels are mandatory, but jewelry can be worn.
